are you going to make some kind of skin or modify the shape to be more tankish? Awesome design by the way.

You and donken are now demigods. I knew tracks could be done, but this is SO SIMPLE! I never even dreamed it would be this easy. Only one question: Can the tracks function without the shock-triangle-things on top? If they can, someone REALLY ought to make one of these.

I actually was experimenting with tracks at one point (this vechicle was what I was trying to make) but never got far but least I know it can be done (I knew thier was a way just couldnt get the best way to put it into implimentation...)...anyways great work guys should bring some revolution soon :D...half-tracks rule!!

I honestly believed it couldn't be done in a good working manner...
Donken made a basic concept and showed it to me, from there we both worked on it and we ended up with this rather awesomely working thing.

So treads ARE possible! This is great! Bonehead, that's one giant step for you, still one giant step toward the RoR community!
Thank you so much! ;D *Thinks about possible tracks for the faketank*.

Not to be pushy or anything but what are your plans with this.  Are u going to be making anything of this like a truck tank bulldozer, or are u just going to keep it the way it is..

I haven't talked it over with Donken yet, but my idea is to add a little cabin ontop of it, make it a bit prettier and then release it.

But I will discuss this with Donken.

i suggest to release this version like it is right now because theres a nice little (maybe inadvertently) feature:
if it turns over one time, you can still use it because there is no up and no down  ;D
just like these rc-controlled pick-up carss that can drive on both sides  ;)

just a release as a sideline to your real version

look at 1:37
it flipped over twice and that gave me the idea that when it only flippend once it could still continue
it doesn' matter how often it flips  :)

Any clue as to how much this thing can carry/pull/whatever, and how well it will work when shrunk wayyyy down, to a useable size? Bulldozers would be an awesome addition to RoR!

you now what that frame reminds me of...A bobcat frame with the tracks or a bulldozer, halftrack truck, tank, crane, track tractors, and so many more.  This has opened so many new opportunities for this game.  Cant wait to drive it.
